[Xtrullor - Supernova]

Wow, man. I don't really even like dubstep all that much but that was pretty fantastic. Keep up the good work, man!

[Ain't Dead Yet]

Wow man, I gotta say, I really like this. Very atmospheric. I especially love the Tool-esque guitar part around 3:50. Sounds like a darker Black Keys/Jose Gonzales sound wave being shot into deep space. Keep it up dude!

Hmmm, very interesting! The music reminded me a lot of Paper Mario because of the multiple counter melodies and also the poppy rhythms used. There doesn't seem to be anything that needs improving. All in all it's a very well-composed piece. Great stuff, man!

[In My Head]

Hmmm, it sounds like a more interesting Paramore-like sound. I really like the time change from the chorus and verse, however, sometimes it sounds a bit awkward. The melodies being played by the guitar are good, but the backing stuff during the chorus is very weak sounding. Maybe just try to bring that a bit more forward and make it more full sounding.

Also, the singer's voice is very good. Very smooth and enjoyable vocal parts, especially in the breakdown section with the synth. I love those harmonies! But the thing is that sometimes her voice sounds flat and at some parts it sounds like the vocal recording was split and joined weirdly. That was a very horrible explanation, but I'm not quite sure how else to explain it. Last thing about the voice though is that I feel like the singer is holding back a bit much in areas similar to 2:20. The way the voice goes up leaves the listener expecting to hear it go crazy on that last note. However, the listener is treated to a very calm falsetto "Yeah...", but going against that expectation may have been your intention.

Either way, good song overall! Definitely want to hear more of this. And also, nice job with the Anchorman samples haha.

[Something Underneath]

Wow man, I'm really digging this! Very calm and relaxing. Also very reminiscent of Metroid Prime, which is probably why I'm imaging some sort of alien planet when I hear it. I like the ending of it, how everything just chills out and you hear that synth whirring a few times and fading off. Good stuff man! Can't wait to hear more, fo' sho'.

Thanks, my friend! I'm glad you noticed the Metroid Prime influence, it really is what drove this song to become as unorthodox as it is.

[Asleep At The Wheel]

Hmmm. It's a bit of an over used sort of doo-whop chord progression sound. Maybe if you changed the rhythm of the chords using syncopation or added some notes to them on the off-beat. And even though you said you didn't want a melody, it would sound pretty good. Maybe something pentatonic or from a minor a scale.

As a loop, it sounds just fine. I found it interesting though, so four stars. Minus one for repetitiveness.

[The Sky Decends]

Wow, I'm only around 50 seconds into the song upon writing this and I'm already captured by the percussion's melodies and by the wind and string instruments. This is a very well composed song, good stuff!

[Taken the lost]

While I'm not a huge fan of this sound in general, the mix sounds quite clean, especially the guitar. It has a very crisp tone. One thing that sounds weird, and maybe it's just me, but the chords behind the overarching melody sound a little unclear and, for lack of a better word, somewhat crunchy (around 00:10 and 00:30).

The part with the guitar melody and synth after 00:30 is very clean and sounds majestic almost. The drums sound fine as well.

[[Sample] - World Promised]

I found the sample to be very interesting and would like to hear a finished copy after mixing and mastering. The song has a sense of intrigue built up by the (if I'm not mistaken) harmonic minor being played by Vin on his guitar. I also love Vin's vocals. The reverby, spacey crying out near the end (or so it sounds to me) that reminds me of Geddy Lee. Overall great stuff. Get that finished product out!

[Hopeful Dream (Piano)]

This was very soothing and nice. I like the part at around 1:30 where the chords change up, but the part I especially love is 1:48 to 2:00. Very nice change up and builds up a lot of tension, only to be released by the melodic parts following it. I also love the little touch added by the quick, high-pitched runs (it sounds like you're playing a major triad along with its octave). Great stuff!
